Switch is currently in search of a Tour Manager to help promote Fiskars PRO thru hands on demonstrations at various retail events in the US. The individual should be comfortable on a speaking with customers at a retail location, and MUST have an understanding and strong interest in outdoor tools.
SUMMARY: For the professional end user, tools are an important piece in the success of their business. Before making an investment they want to touch, feel and see how they perform. This is where we come in, allowing the professional an opportunity to test the tool in a real application at industrial accounts, big box retailers and occasionally on job sites. Our traveling experience is equipped with Fiskars tools, custom demonstration stations, product informational signage and branding materials. The Tour Manager will work with a Fiskars Sales Rep at each location and will be responsible for collecting and reporting on product sell thru, consumer product demonstrations, account training/feedback, competitor information while maintaining a strong brand presence.

- Responsible for developing program scope and corresponding budget
- Once the project is sold, they “drive” the project team to deliver on schedule and on budget, and ensure that the creative approach stays focused and consistent with the project’s strategic intent
- At times depending on project specifics will be tasked with ensuring completion of credit card coding, purchase orders, check requests, field staff time reporting, processing of invoices and expense reports
- Acts as a day-to-day contact for client corporate and field, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of client’s business, industry trends and competitive landscape
- Contributes to the development of job descriptions, manages recruitment and onboarding based on agreed upon timelines
- Develops and implements program training on both the client and Switch sides
- Works collaboratively across all Switch departments to ensure efficient communication and processes are implemented and followed
- Fosters client relationships with corporate and field to position Switch as a strategic and invaluable partner
- Actively grows business through applying key program learnings to create stronger ideas that drive performance results
